How does it work?

The VantaRide Blackout Plate is a button-activated system that mounts to your motorcycle's license plate. A discreet switch is installed near your handlebars. One press and your plate goes completely dark. Press again to restore visibility. It's that simple.

Is this legal?

VantaRide products are sold strictly as motorcycle accessories for off-road, private property, show, and display use only. We make no claims regarding the legality of use on public roads in any jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to check and comply with your local laws before use.

Will it fit my motorcycle?

Yes. The VantaRide Blackout Plate is designed as a universal fit system compatible with standard motorcycle license plate mounts. It works on sport bikes, cruisers, touring bikes, and everything in between with standard 7" x 4" license plates.

How hard is it to install?

Most riders complete the install in under 30 minutes with basic tools. The kit includes everything you need.

Is it weatherproof?

Absolutely. The unit is waterproof, temperature resistant, and vibration tested. Rain, heat, cold, it performs in whatever conditions you may be caught in.

Does it come with a remote control?

Yes. The kit includes both a handlebar-mounted switch and a wireless remote control so you have two ways to activate the blackout.

How long does shipping take?

In-stock orders ship within 1–3 business days. Delivery typically takes 2–7 business days depending on your location and shipping method. Preorder items ship on the estimated date listed on the product page.

What if my unit arrives damaged?

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage. The product must be uninstalled and in its original packaging. All refund requests are reviewed and approved by VantaRide. See our Return Policy for full details.

Can I return it after installing it?

No. Once the product has been installed on any vehicle in any capacity, it is no longer eligible for a refund. Please inspect your unit thoroughly before installation.

Do you ship internationally?

Not currently. We ship to all 50 US states and US territories. If you're outside the US and interested, reach out to us at vantaride@gmail.com and we'll see what we can do.
